Account Deletion & Privacy Requests

1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Pindorado account in either the iOS application or the website:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
- On the website: Settings → Account → Delete Account
When you initiate deletion, you will receive a confirmation email. Your account will be deleted within 30 days. During this 30-day period, you may cancel the deletion by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
2. What is Deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following are permanently removed:
- Your email address (from the account database)
- Your account profile and credentials
- Your collection data (saved pins, dashboards, value history)
- Account-related logs
3. What is Retained
- Marketing email subscription: if you opted in to marketing emails, your email address remains in our marketing list until you separately unsubscribe (see any marketing email for the unsubscribe link)
- Billing and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable German tax law (typically 10 years under § 147 of the German Fiscal Code, AO)
- Anonymized analytics: aggregated data not linkable to your account
User-uploaded scan images are not stored beyond the brief identification step (typically minutes), so there are no images to delete at the account deletion stage.
4. Other Privacy Rights
You also have the right to:
- Request a copy of your personal information (right to access)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy [at] pindorado [dot] com with your account email and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days.
5. Appeal
If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our response within 30 days. We will review the appeal and provide a final decision within 45 days.
